The BSD Toll Road, which is badly congested due to being submerged by the flood

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Heavy rains that flushed the area of ​​South Tangerang City and its surroundings on Friday (15/7/2022) caused a number of points to be submerged flood.

One of the locations that was flooded was the BSD Kilometer 8 Toll Road. The water level reached 50 to 70 cm.

The flood conditions made the freeway difficult for vehicles to cross.

Monitoring at the location, long traffic jams occur both on toll roads to Jakarta and vice versa.

In order to break the density, the officers seemed to try to regulate the flow of traffic on both lanes.

Several officers’ cars were placed at several points as markers so that toll road users’ vehicles would not pass deeper into the flooded area.

An appeal was also heard over the loudspeaker addressed to the driver.

On Saturday (16/7/2022) this morning, the flood on the BSD Toll Road has receded.
