There is not a single record where he is clearly visible. There is nothing anywhere to tell us even in which direction he went. This is our biggest problem right now. It’s like he disappeared into the ground. It’s the fourth day and we haven’t even made a bit of progress. This was stated by the brother of 25-year-old Emil Boev, who disappeared in Pernik.
“I just want us to find him, somewhere warm. I hope he is in a safe place,” said Martin Boev.
He added that they need volume of the search operation.
Emil Boev was last seen on Friday against Saturday at 3 o’clock in the morning. He was at the Surva festival with friends. Emil is wearing a camouflage jacket and dark trousers. He is 1.80 m tall, with green eyes and brown hair, with a beard and mustache, according to his relatives.
“Since no one can save us, we must save ourselves.” God high, king far away,” declared the wanted man’s father, Emil.
“In the morning, we gathered in front of the municipality with a group of dogs from the Mountain Rescue Service. We toured the area. This part, which is above the park, in which the stadium is located, is 90% covered. Data from the GPS trackers is currently being downloaded to check if there are any unexplored locations,” he added.
The father of the missing boy is not surprised that so many people have joined the search operation.
Emil Boev’s brother – Martin added that they are constantly receiving mixed signals.
“It’s a bit difficult for the boy (b.r., who was last with Emil Boev) because both of them were drinking. He says: “I fell asleep, I’m lost.” It doesn’t give a clear answer,” he said.
“He was deeply upset, he was in a state of heightened emotions, he forgot, perhaps, that he didn’t have a phone because he thought the battery was dead. I found the phone, it was broken. There are many versions, unfortunately,” added Martin Boev.
Relatives were able to see with whom he last texted.
“Up to a point, everything was normal. Then everything turns around for reasons that are unclear to me,” he adds.
Hospitals, restaurants, police stations were checked. Testimony was taken. Everyone had seen him by the time they were together with his friends.
“After they were left with just this boy – no one saw either of them. There is an option to be in all of Bulgaria. He had money and documents on him,” says Martin Boev.
Police, fire brigade, civil protection, divers, friends and the volunteers who helped to find Sashko two months ago are involved in the search.
“The whole city is crawling with these teams. Specialized equipment is also included. The entire bed of the Struma River has been traversed,” explained the spokesman of the ODMVR-Pernik Vencislav Alexiev.
Volunteers welcome any help and call for greater publicity of the case.
“We decided that we just need to get as many people involved as possible,” said Nikolay Krumov.
“A forestry team is scouring the region, we are also trying, we don’t have a specific location, today we were around the fortress, precipices,” Viktor Yankov added.
