The British Council in Bulgaria will close its library activities from November. Most of the books and magazines will be donated to a local library. The decision to close the library comes from the council’s intention to reallocate resources, time and money to its projects and to its new way of working in line with the modernized role of the British Council in Europe, the announcement said.
The council adds that their work will be aimed at young people in Bulgaria and will offer programs to strengthen intercultural dialogue, stimulate tolerance for differences and develop skills for innovation and increased competitiveness.
