The OnePlus Nord, the next mid-range smartphone from OnePlus, continues to reveal all its secrets. According to a leak, the phone is equipped with a dual front photo sensor for 32-megapixel selfies. It is the first time that the young Chinese brand has integrated a double module on the front of a smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord, formerly called OnePlus Z or OnePlus 8 Lite, has already appeared on the web multiple times. Sure renderings published by OnLeaks, the smartphone is notably equipped with a single front photo sensor, placed in a small punch like the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

But according to information recently obtained by our colleagues from Android Central, the OnePlus Nord is not satisfied with a single front photo sensor. Quoting “A privileged source”, the media claims that the smartphone hasa double sensor for selfies composed of a main 32 megapixel module and a second 8 megapixel sensor.
OnePlus would have decided to place the large punch in the left corner of the screen, says Android Central. On Twitter, OnLeaks confirmed the new information shared by the media. Since the publication of the first renderings in December 2019, it is therefore likely that OnePlus has made major changes to the design and specifications of the OnePlus Nord. Similarly, the Max.J leaker claims that the OnePlus Nord is equipped with a quadruple photo sensor on the back while the renderings of OnLeaks show a triple vertical photo sensor. It is therefore expected that OnePlus has widely revised its copy since the first leaks.
Moreover, the smartphone would be powered by the Snapdragon 765G, a mid-range chipset, covered with an AMOLED 90 Hz screen. OnePlus would bet on a rate of around 300 euros, recently teased Carl Pei, founder of the brand, on his Twitter account.
