“The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” Director Zhora Kryzhovnikov to Reshoot Final Episodes due to Leak – Exclusive Announcement

Director of the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the asphalt” Zhora Kryzhovnikov decided to reshoot the final episodes of the project. The director and co-writer of the script Andrey Zolotarev spoke about this; the video was published by the service Wink in your telegram channel.

The authors noted that they learned about the seventh and eighth episodes of the film leaked to the Network and compared it with semi-finished products – “a man ran into the restaurant kitchen and grabbed raw food: unpeeled potatoes, dirty carrots, undercooked meat.” It’s not ready.

“And we reshot the eighth episode. Because we lived through these episodes with you and around the third we realized that we want to end this story differently,” explained Kryzhovnikov.

A new text was written, and an agreement was reached with the producers on additional financing.

“So that the eighth would be cooler, more emotional, sharper than what we got,” he added.

Kryzhovnikov added that in the seventh episode, fragments were re-shot and it differs slightly from the version leaked to the Internet; it was edited and completed in terms of sound, image, and graphics. The eighth episode is fundamentally different. The authors urged not to watch the “draft”, but if you did, compare what the creators of the project actually prepared for the audience.

Kryzhovnikov also emphasized that there was no pressure from any quarter.

“If it had been there, we would have cut it rather than re-shot it,” the director assured.

“Due to all the improvements and alterations, the eighth episode will be released a little later, we will additionally inform you than Thursday of next week (December 21),” the authors concluded.

As reported EADaily, series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” appeared on online platforms on November 9. It talks about the life of youth groups in Kazan in the late 1980s.

Despite a number of negative assessments, Roskomnadzor did not find any violations in the series.
