After the American press received PS5, the first images of Sony’s nextgen console packaging appeared on the net and, with them, comparative shots with the PS4 box that confirm the truly enormous size of the next family of PlayStation systems.
While Geoff Keighley ventured into the PS5 package weight using the bathroom scale (!!!), the Senior Editor of Engadget, Devindra Hardawar, took the opportunity offered him by the Japanese technology company to compare the PlayStation 5 box with that of PS4, strictly in its “original” version launched at the end of 2013.
In the photos taken by Hardawar the difference in the width of thehuge pack of PS5 compared to the PS4 box, with an almost double volume which would seem to suggest the adoption of a “generous” packaging with packaging designed to protect in the best possible way the hardware of the console and its removable panels.
If this kind of nextgen themed trivia have you “broke the boxes” (sorry for the joke), you will still be happy to know that, after so many months of waiting punctuated by the most disparate anticipations,PlayStation 5 release, expected in Europe (and therefore also in Italy) for November 19 in its dual version with or without disc player.
