LThe coroner in the file will carry out the investigation in order to know the causes and circumstances of the death.
The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) was arrested Wednesday evening, around 8:15 p.m., after a passer-by discovered an inanimate body near the Félix-Leclerc and Laurentienne highways.
The nautical team of the Quebec Fire Protection Service was called upon to recover the body of the man who was lying in a body of water, said SPVQ spokesperson David Pelletier.
“According to our initial findings, the death was not linked to a criminal offense,” added Mr. Pelletier.
