The Ukrainian army presented on Friday, May 27, the 93rd day of the war, the new “trophy” obtained in the fight against the Russians.
Ukrainian defenders seized a SBA-60-K2 “Bulat” armored car from the Russian army used by the Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyrov.
The information and images with the car were made public on the Telegram account of the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Kadyrov’s SBA-60-K2” Bulat “trophy armored car will now benefit Ukraine,” the video reads.
The special armored vehicle of the Russian army was designed to transport and protect personnel, as well as to mount various weapons or equipment. The car can travel on any type of road and in any climatic conditions, he notes Obozrevatel.
Bulat armored vehicles have a capacity of 8 (+2) people, a length of 8 m, a width of 2.5 m and a height of 2.6 m. Other features of the car are: engine – 240-360 liters. a., maximum speed – 95 km / h, power reserve – 800 km, armor class – 6 according to GOST.
Bulat armor can withstand direct blows from 7.62 mm caliber weapons.
Russia currently has 15 Bulat vehicles received at the end of 2014 and has ordered a new batch of another 50 vehicles from Russian manufacturer Zaschcita.
