Manama: The Bahrain International Garden Show, which began on March 9 at the Bahrain Exhibition World under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, will conclude on Sunday, March 12. Thousands of people came to watch the garden show on the first day itself. Weekend holidays, Friday and Saturday, were very busy.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Bin Salman Educational Charitable Endowment. Members of the royal family, various ministers, members of Parliament, Shura Council and ambassadors of various countries attended the inauguration ceremony. The exhibition, which runs till Sunday, will be open to the public daily from 10 am to 9 pm. Vegetables, fruits and plants from different countries are on display in the fair where 176 exhibitors are participating. Organizers said the acceptance of the Bahrain Garden Show is increasing year after year.
