The Asturian group Resnova has just acquired Gonzacar, a Ford dealer in Ferrol, whose management will also come to depend on the facilities in A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela, for which reason they will manage the oval brand in the province, an operation signed at the beginning of the month of August.
Grupo Resnova has been in the automobile sector for nearly 30 years and is currently one of the most important automotive groups in the Northwest of Spain. Specifically, in the Ford brand, it has more than 10 years of experience and has been present in Galicia since 2011, when it established Galmotor, with a structure of four facilities in the province of Pontevedra.
With these three new facilities, there are now twenty-nine official dealers that make up the Resnova Group, representing twelve of the most important brands in the automotive sector.
Gonzacar is installed in the As Lagoas industrial estate, in Narón, and picked up the baton left by Garaje Castelos, which was the Ford dealer for Ferrol and the region for several decades.
