The government will pour 11 million liters of cheap cooking oil to solve the problem of expensive cooking oil. The price is set at IDR 14,000 per liter.
Well, here is the appearance of simple packaged cooking oil that will be released by the government in the near future.
The documentation was obtained by detikcom from the Director General of Domestic Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan. He revealed that the photo was taken yesterday, Friday (12/11/2021) at a shopping center in Jakarta.
“Today at AEON Cakung, Jakarta Garden City,” said Oke to detikcom yesterday Friday (12/11).
Contacted separately, the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industries (GIMNI) Bernard Riedo also confirmed the appearance of simple packaged cooking oil that would be dispensed.
“Yes. However, depending on each producer, there is this packaging or standard packaging. There is no limit to the form of packaging,” he said in a short message when confirmed regarding the packaging of cheap cooking oil to be dispensed, Saturday (11/13/2021).
For information, the cheap cooking oil was poured into a short-term government step in overcoming the problem of expensive cooking oil.
According to Oke, the Ministry of Trade is collaborating with the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo) to distribute 11 million liters of oil to 45,000 department stores and minimarkets.
Meanwhile, for the supply of simple packaged cooking oil, the government cooperates with cooking oil producers who are members of the Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industry Association (GIMNI) and the Indonesian Food Oil Industry Association (AIMMI). The cooking oil is priced below the market price, which is Rp. 14,000/liter.
