JAKARTA – Galaxy Tab A8 is a Samsung tablet that is priced at a very affordable price. However, the features are quite tempting. Starting from a 7,040 mAh battery, 128 GB of internal memory, up to a 10.5-inch screen.
The tablet is available in two options. Namely IDR 2,999,000 (Wi-Fi) and IDR 4,499,000 (LTE), marketed via pre-order on January 24-31 2022 with a claimed bonus of IDR 968,000.
Product Marketing Manager Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Indonesia Annisa Maulina said that the tablet can be used by parents, teenagers, and children because it supports Samsung Kids.

Performance
The Galaxy Tab A8 uses a Unisoc Tiger T618 octa-core processor. In detail, two cores use ARM Cortex-A75 speed of 2GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 speed of 1.8GHz. A similar configuration is found in the MediaTek Helio G80 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. For daily functions, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Wi-Fi or 4G LTE
Users can choose if they want cheap and use Wi-Fi more at home, there is the Galaxy Tab A8 3GB/32GB (Wi-Fi) which costs IDR 3 million. As for if you want to be mobile, there is an option of 4GB RAM/128GB which is priced at IDR 4.5 million.
Battery
The Galaxy Tab A8 battery is fairly large. Namely, a capacity of 7,040mAh with a 15W fast charging feature. The large battery allows the tablet to be used all day long.
10.5 Inch Screen
The Galaxy Tab A8 sports a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) TFT screen. This WUXGA screen has an aspect ratio of 16:10 or closer to the box compared to Full HD which has an aspect ratio of 16:9. As a complement, there are quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. Suitable for watching videos, Zoom, and other multimedia activities.
