One of the figures who persuaded Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford was Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The two players are quite close because they both strengthen the Portugal national team.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Bruno Fernandes has been in dialogue with Cristiano Ronaldo as Manchester United consider bringing the player back to Old Trafford.

Fernandes contacted when rumors of Ronaldo moving to Manchester City officially started. In fact, the two sides had reportedly reached a personal agreement.

Solskjaer claims Fernandes has held talks with Ronaldo.

“We (Solskjaer and Ronaldo) always communicate well. Bruno also spoke to him and he knows how we feel about him. And if he is going to move from Juventus, he knows we are here,” said Solskjaer, as quoted BBC.
