The man with the initials BS (43) is desperate to do robbery at Bank BJB Fatmawati branch, Cilandak, South Jakarta, because of billions of rupiah in debt. However, this BS armed robbery failed miserably.
This private bank employee who claims to earn Rp. 60 million per month admits that inspired by ‘Money Heist’. He planned the robbery carefully in the style of the ‘Money Heist’ series, although it was finally thwarted by security guards.
‘Money Heist’ Inspired Bank Robbery
South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi said the suspect BS prepared the equipment to rob airsoft gun to smoke bomb.
“Yes, (film) MH (‘Money Heist’). The movie on pay TV that has ‘N’ in front (Netflix) is a robbery movie whose title has money-money. He was inspired by that,” said Kombes Budhi Herdi told reporters, Thursday (7/4/2022).
‘Money Heist’ is a Spanish drama series. This film tells the story of a group of bank robbers led by a person named ‘Professor’.
Bring the ‘Smoke Bomb’ to the Airsoft Gun
Suspect private bank employees it prepares equipment, from ‘smoke bombs’ to electroshock devices to smooth out the action. He prepared the dangerous equipment to escape if he was in a pinch.
“Some kind of smoke bomb or smoke firecrackers and what are those tools for? To escape. So later, if he is trapped, he will use this and this is again influenced by the film he watched,” said Budhi.
