The 58th edition of the Prague Golden International Television Festival opens its doors this Wednesday with a gala concert at the New Stage of the National Theater.
Among the leading artists are the Czech violin virtuoso Václav Hudeček, accompanied by the Czech Sinfonietta Orchestra, and the mezzo-soprano Štěpánka Pučálková.
Film premieres include Jakub Sommer’s documentary My Life with Bohuslav Martinů and Patrik Ulrich’s documentary about the co-founder of the legendary Jára Cimrman Theater, Miloň Čepelka. The concert will be broadcast live on Czech Television on its cultural channel ČT Art.
