After discussions with the players’ union, the NBA has reached an agreement on the various approved messages that NBA players will be able to display during the NBA resumption. As a reminder, the NBA offers its players to replace their names on the back of their jerseys with a message of solidarity towards the cause defended by the movement ”Black Lives Mattervery popular in the United States and mostly supported by players in the big league basketball. Here are the different messages that we could read on the jerseys of the players who choose them.

Some messages were expected by their popularity and their symbolism (Black Lives Matter, I can’t breathe), but others may surprise. The NBA thus offers certain very political messages (Vote, Education Reform, Power to the people). Thus, the big league is positioned on the side of the people in a decision of reason vis-a-vis the scold which climbed among the players the initiative of Kyrie Irving to name just him. It is also interesting to note that a message in Spanish (Yes you can) will be available for Hispanic players.
