“Thank you brother” was written on the tent of our relief team dispatched to Turkey.

Turkiye Antakya, one of the areas most affected by the earthquake.

Emergency rescuers from South Korea push themselves through the rubble to find survivors.

About an hour after the start of the activity, an elderly man in his 70s was carried on the back of a rescue worker, and a 2-year-old girl also saw the light safely.

″Wait a minute. Wait a minute.″

In a situation where the golden time of 72 hours had passed, our relief team, who fought against time with the thought of saving even one more person, succeeded in rescuing 8 survivors.

″Thank you so so so much for the effort. They are doing what we couldn’t do and no one has helped me like the Korean relief team.”

The day before they decided to evacuate to a nearby city after completing rescue activities.

In the tent of the Korean relief team installed in the yard of the high school, Hangeul is written one letter at a time.

″Thank you bro″

It’s a little awkward handwriting, but a Turkician left a heart of gratitude to the departing crew.

Right above it, someone else wrote ″Brother countries″ in Korean, and ″Brother countries, Korea and Turkey″ in Turkish.

In front of another tent, in English, ″Thank you for coming to help. A board was erected that read, “Dear Korean friends.”

On the 9th, the third day after the earthquake, the 1st team of the relief team, which had been carrying out rescue activities in the field, decided to switch missions with the 2nd team after suffering from cold and poor conditions without water or electricity.

The chances of rescuing survivors are getting slimmer, and about half of the countries that sent aid teams have decided to withdraw.

Unlike the 1st team, which was centered on search and rescue personnel, the 2nd rescue team, which is mainly composed of medical teams, departed for Turkey last night and plans to work for a week.
