During the discussion of gas tariffs, Rosenko said that the team of President Volodymyr Zelensky did not keep the promise to reduce tariffs.
“This is not a story about pre-election promises. Zelensky promised to reduce utility tariffs already in the status of president. He said that his team had found a way to do this. As a result, today the gas tariff is three times higher than a year ago,” said the ex- minister.
At this time, Kamelchuk tried to argue with him.
“Have you fallen from the sky, Pavel? This is an annual tariff. You are constantly shouting at me,” the people’s deputy said.
He went up to Rosenko – and at that moment a scuffle ensued, which the people’s deputy hastened to separate from the “Opposition Platform – For Life” Nestor Shufrich and the presenter.
Rosenko said that Kamelchuk was behaving aggressively because he had nothing to say. In response to this, the People’s Deputy said: “Thank you that I didn’t screw you up,” and after that he left the studio.
Most election promises of Zelensky, given by him on March 24, 2019 in an interview to the “1 + 1” TV channel, were not fulfilled. This was stated by experts from the Committee of Voters of Ukraine on March 24, 2021.
Zelensky did not fulfill, in particular, the promise to raise the Ukrainian economy, the so-called tax amnesty bill, the accession of the United States and Great Britain to the Minsk process, as well as about freezing tariff growth in Ukraine.
