“Tesol Arabia International” concludes its operations in Dubai

DUBAI, 14th March, WAM, The TESOL Arabia International Conference concluded its activities at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dubai, after 3 days full of sessions and workshops.

More than (657) speakers from (33) countries presented more than 300 research papers and attracted elite experts in the education sector and curriculum makers, as well as researchers and academics. Pioneers in the field of digital technology, in addition to international experts with leading experience.

The conference made several recommendations, the most important of which is to support student learning and achievement and to reaffirm the position of TESOL Arabia and that the English language is an essential resource for learning all over the world. He stressed the need to teach English because of the changes and rapid environmental challenges that have a direct impact on education systems.
He also recommended that education must keep pace with the digital revolution – including the advent of artificial intelligence; As education has a great influence on this revolution and is affected by it.. stressing the need to provide learners with transferable skills and competencies; so that they can apply the knowledge; To build new opportunities, and adapt to the labor market.
The recommendations pointed out that successful language teaching requires continuous efforts and a strong commitment to professionalism, so the development of teachers must continue as they implement new skills and adapt to unprecedented challenges..and that teaching English must take its role in societies, with the need for a new vision. And re-“invent” what the school of tomorrow is.
The conference recommended opening the doors to a new, innovative and creative approach. To serve sustainable development and pave the way for future learning societies, develop a professional development strategy, to develop the school’s experience and implement school improvement programs.

Musabah Muhammad Khalifa Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the Conference, said that the conference focused on the latest innovative studies in educational curricula and methods, which deal with the latest findings of scientific research in teaching languages, and English language in particular.

He added that the organizing administration of the conference worked to form a specialized committee of senior academic figures, in coordination with Professor Muhammad Abu Al-Faraj Sadiq, Secretary-General of the conference; To prepare a table of recommendations that becomes a road map, deducing the most important educational concepts in the world.

He pointed out that the organizing committee reviewed the latest research and developments in the fields of teaching methods and educational attainment, taking advantage of modern digital technology, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, and discussing their effects and applications in the basic and university education sector. Benefiting from all previous research and experiences to identify obstacles and ways to solve them; Whether in the curricula or in the field of developing and transferring the teacher’s experiences by introducing teaching methods; To create real communication between the teacher, the curriculum and the students in an integrated environment between the school, the home and the community.
