Ordered last July, finally here: Rafa Nadal’s luxury yacht arrived in Mallorca almost a year after ordering!
–
After the Spanish tennis champion parted company with his 2.8 million ex-yacht last year, two days after his 34th birthday he is now allowed to take his new “80 Sunreef Power catamaran”. Cost of the new luxury property: CHF 5.5 million!

Luxury wherever you look
At 24 meters, the new yacht is the same length as its predecessor, but at 12 meters it is significantly wider, which means it can accommodate up to twelve passengers. Exactly what Nadal was looking for.
–
The ship’s garage offers space for a dinghy, jet ski and various water toys. Additional extras: a wonderful front terrace, whirlpool, bar, salon and a master suite.
–
Of course, Nadal and his wife Xisca are asking the showpiece in Mallorca for their maiden voyage over the weekend. And since the corona measures in Spain are now being relaxed, Rafa can take his family with sister Maribel and father Sebastian on board without a guilty conscience.

Nadal: “I love children!”
Will Nadal and Xisca soon be able to take their own children on the luxury yacht? The Mallorcan repeatedly said that he was a pronounced family man, but that his career often stood in the way of this wish. At the end of 2018, he said: «I would like to have children, boys, girls … I love children and I am a family man. But the years go by and I want to start a family if my athletic life allows it. »
–
Nadal continues: «I also have Xisca, so of course I can’t make decisions on my own. I used to think that at the moment I am an ex-player and I have a family. You have to adapt to the situations. Things are not easy to predict. »
–
Xisca: «… that would suffocate me!»
Xisca, who lives very privately, spoke in a rare interview with “The Telegraph” about her relationship with Rafa in 2011: “Traveling anywhere together – even if I could – would not be good for him or me. He needs his space when he’s at tournaments. And just hanging out all day and responding to his needs would kill me. It would suffocate me! And then he would worry about me … No. If I followed him everywhere, there would be a big risk that we would no longer understand each other. »

Fortunately, the two still get along very well. And on the 5.5 million luxury yacht there is also enough space to avoid each other … (red)
