Monday, May 24, 2021. 7:10 p.m.

Canadians Félix Auger-Aliassime and Milos Raonic fell two places in the most recent ATP ranking, released Monday morning. For his part, Denis Shapovalov – who announced Sunday that he will not participate in the Roland-Garros tournament – has gained a rank.

The Norwegian Casper Ruud reached the 16th position, the highest rank of his career, while the first 13 places remain unchanged in the ranking published on Monday, one week before Roland Garros.

Ruud, 22, gains five places thanks to his victory on Saturday at the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva. Roger Federer, eliminated from this tournament in his first match for his return to clay, remains 8th.

The victory in Lyon of the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas does not allow him to steal fourth place from Dominic Thiem, while the finalist, the Italian Lorenzo Musetti, signs the second strongest progression of the top 100 with a gain of 12 places to reach the 76th position.

Note also the gain of 20 places by the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (94th), who becomes at 18 years and 19 days the fifth youngest player to enter the Top 100 since the beginning of the century according to ATP.
