The Tenerife Enrique Cruz with the Gran Canaria Yeray Mujica as co-pilot and at the controls of his Ford Fiesta R5, have prevailed in the 7th Rallye Comarca Norte held this Saturday in Gran Canaria. The Tenerife rider saw his main rival in the fight for victory, the palmero Miguel Suárez (Skoda Fabia), who left in the first timed section (Gáldar Desguace), so the possibility of victory was closer.
With the abandonment of Suárez, the local driver Luis Monzón (Skoda Fabia), became Cruz’s main opponent, managing to win four stages timed by the five from Tenerife, getting the Disa Sport driver to take the victory by 8 “ahead on Monzón, and 3’25 ” on Julio Martínez (Porsche 996).
