This season, one of the leading domestic teams of Riga “Celtnieks” is not starting in any of the tournaments.
The winners of the previous season’s league were Klaipeda’s “Dragunas”, who won Vilnius “Švieša” in the final.
Latvian teams – Dobele “Tenax”, Riga “Celtnieks”, “Ogre” and Ludza “Latgols” – were forced to terminate their participation in the league due to Covid-19 restrictions.
