Dominique Besnehard returned to the follow-up projects that could be given to Dix pour Cent, a series with Camille Cottin whose fourth and (in theory) final season was broadcast last November.
“The series will be back, we are examining several projects with France Télévisions. Maybe we’ll do a unit in New York and then we’ll come back to a fifth season. We are trying to make the unit in association with Netflix but in priority for France Televisions ”, explained the agent of stars and co-producer of the series Dix pour Cent, in an interview for the Belgian site Télépro.
According to him, the series must return quickly to best satisfy viewers, a season 5 will come in a second time. “It takes a while to write a fifth season, I think doing nothing is going to take the show away from the viewer. By making a unitary quickly enough, viewers will not lose sight of the series. ”
In 2020, Dominique Besnehard had already entrusted Allociné with the possibility of offering a unit to fans. “I would like to do a Ten Percent in New York! This is Anne Holmes [directrice de la fiction de France Télévisions, ndlr] who suggested the idea to me. In Plus Belle la vie, there are sometimes 90 minutes that serve as a variation (…) I think you have to do 90 minutes, and maybe do it in America. When we go to New York, everyone talks to me about Call my agent! If we had Sigourney Weaver, it’s because she saw her! So why not do a big episode in New York, with, perhaps, seeing one of the members of the agency, Camille Cottin or little Fanny Sidney doing an internship there, and confronting their system. “
