Willem Vermeend is not surprised at the possible relocation of the Shell headquarters from The Hague to London. The former minister has been warning for some time about the deterioration of the business climate in the Netherlands. He hopes that the cabinet will reverse this trend with an ambitious investment plan. Because of the corona crisis, according to him, VAT must also be temporarily reduced.
