Telecom Egypt has signed two new agreements of its kind with Egypt Telecom, which include messaging services, infrastructure, and interconnection between the mobile phone and the fixed, and the first agreement works to develop the commercial model provided by Telecom Egypt for providing messaging and infrastructure services, where Telecom Egypt signs for the first Once a long-term agreement with Telecom Egypt that includes an annual commitment to infrastructure services, and that agreement enables Telecom Egypt to continue to provide the best offers and mobile telecommunications services to its customers in the Egyptian market, and the agreement extends for three and a half years with a total value of 2 billion pounds.
In addition, the two companies signed an agreement for interconnection between the mobile and fixed phones, and this step represents the first commercial agreement for these services between the Egyptian company and Telecom Egypt and the second of its kind for the Egyptian company in the Egyptian market.
Telecom Egypt has announced the date of announcing its consolidated and independent financial statements for the three months ending March 31, 2020, in accordance with the Egyptian Accounting Standards, on Thursday, June 11, before the start of the trading session at the Egyptian Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange. The company had accumulated 25.8 billion pounds in revenue in 2019, a growth of 13% over the previous year.
