The event originated, as confirmed by sources of the operation, at about nine in the morning after a heated discussion began to emerge between a man and the three young people. They were in the street, very close to the entrance of a well-known restaurant and nightlife in the area that serves as ‘after’. It didn’t take long for tempers to heat up and the three Dominicans left the place to arm themselves in a nearby house. From there they returned after a few minutes equipped with their unique arsenal of bladed weapons.

Back on San José Street, they attacked the man with whom the argument had started with the butt of the simulated revolver. She received blows to the head, although she would not end up requiring an ambulance transfer. During the brawl, the three detainees also allegedly injured two more people. This is a 47-year-old man whose name corresponds to the initials DCG; and his daughter, YCF, 24. The first suffered a cut to the head and the young woman, a gash on the left side of her face, just above her neck. The 112 room received the notice at 9:09 a.m. and several Emergency units took charge of transferring him by ambulance to the HUCA Emergency Department.

At the scene of the event, a large operation was deployed made up of nine Local Police patrols, which were supported by units from the Headquarters. They were not arrested immediately, they had fled on foot, although they caught up with them shortly after. They had to reduce them. In addition, the alleged attackers had thrown their weapons in a doorway.

Once the area was secured, the troops transferred the detainees to the Rubín Citizen Security building, where the first procedures were carried out. From there, handcuffed at all times, they were taken a few hours later to the offices of the National Police, which is in charge of this type of case, and in whose cells they were detained awaiting their pertinent release to justice.
