Inspector General Teddy Minahasa as suspected in the case drug trafficking called ordered to replace the 5 kg drug test with alum. Teddy denied the allegations.
This was revealed by Teddy Minahasa’s lawyer, Hotman Paris. Hotman confirmed the allegations were not true.
“As for the allegation as being mixed with alum, that’s not even true,” Hotman told police in Metro Jaya, Jakarta on Tuesday (10/25/2022).
Hotman said the allegation of replacing the 5kg drug evidence with alum was unfounded. The reason is that Teddy Minahasa has announced that he will save 5 kg of drugs as an incentive to catch other offenders.
“This is as seen in the TV shows that Teddy Minahasa clearly stated at the time that 35 kg was destroyed today and that 5 kg of crystalline methamphetamine was allowed as evidence. So actually no alum was mixed because it was assuming that 5 kg was set aside, “Hotman said.
Checked 6 hours
Teddy Minahasa tonight he finished undergoing further examination as a suspect in the drug trafficking case. In total, Teddy’s six hours were checked.
“Inspected since 3 this afternoon. In total there are about 20 questions,” Hotman said.
Hotman said his client followed every inspection process well today. The condition of the former West Sumatran police chief is also said to be in good condition.
“(Condition) is healthy, healthy. He’s getting brighter, he’s fresher after finding a Hotman Paris attorney who can give him the best legal advice,” Hotman explained.
Additionally, Hotman admitted that his party would cooperate regarding the legal process that trapped Inspector General Teddy Minahasa. So far, his party will not take any preliminary measures regarding the status of suspect Teddy Minahasa.
“No (preliminary phase). Let’s follow the procedure aja first of all and we are ready because if this really meets the requirements to be delegated, we will deal with it. But the evidence is shrinking that Teddy Minahasa is a victim, “Hotman said.
