The Spanish Primera División resumed on Thursday evening with the Seville city derby and a technological novelty. Artificial public has been projected onto the empty stands of the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
The rights holders of the Spanish league have hired some technicians to provide the matches in empty stadiums with extra ‘atmosphere’. Also Ziggo Sport uses the addition. However, the decor is reminiscent of football games from a distant past … The first reactions are therefore not entirely enthusiastic, although some fans are already happy that the ball is rolling again:
