Liga MX saw a parade of coaches from January 2023 to what will be the start of Clausura 2024. In this period, 16 of the 18 teams changed coaches.
Only Pachuca with Guillermo Almada and Mauro Gerk’s Querétaro did not break their project in the last year, in fact Almada’s is the longest process currently, 18 months.
The other side of the coin is presented by two clubs: Mazatlán and Cruz Azul; There will be four coaches to direct at least one match between date one of Clausura 2023 and the start of 2024. La Maquina was directed by Raúl Gutiérrez, Ricardo Ferretti, Joaquín Moreno and Martín Anselmi is the new person in charge.
Gabriel Caballero, Cristian Ramírez, Rubén Omar Romano and Ismael Rescalvo paraded through Mazatlán, however, there were two cases in which changing led them to success… Tigres used Diego Cocca and Marco Antonio Ruiz before Siboldi came to the rescue to win the Clausura 2023, the Campeón de Campeones, the Campeones Cup and the subtitle of the Apertura 2023.
In total 27 technical changes in the recent 12 months, clear proof that patience does not exist in Liga MX.
