END OF LIVE – The Voice started tonight on TF1 and viewers were able to watch the first part of the auditions blind. Amel Bent, Marc Lavoine, Pascal Obispo and Lara Fabian are the new coaches this year. The beginning of the show started strong with the performance of Baby J. The young singer sang very well and Pascal Obispo and Lara Fabian turned around. Lara Fabian tried to seduce Baby J with a short singing lesson. However, she chose to join Pascal Obispo’s team. Then the coaches could hear the voice of Antoine Delie, a 22-year-old Belgian singer. His voice and eccentricity pleased the members of the jury and the singer joined the team of Marc Lavoine. Amel Bent and the other coaches think that Antoine Delie will go far in the competition. Toni divided the coaches during this first evening of The Voice. Amel Bent had a crush on Toni but Pascal Obispo was not of the same opinion. For him, Toni should have had a little more restraint. Amel Bent defended his protege even if it meant coming into conflict with Pascal Obispo. In the end, Toni chose to join the coaching team. Maria Cuche is the next to go on stage and the candidate went blind when she was a child. She was fortunate to participate in Eurovision in 1985 and represented her country: Ireland. The two coaches argued for several minutes and Amel Bent cut Pascal Obispo’s speech several times. Michael is the next one to sing and he is dazzling the coaches. The 27-year-old singer sang Heroes by David Bowie. Marc Lavoine loved Michael’s voice and wants him to join his team. “Come work with me, we’re going to have fun” he said. Pascal Obispo also pressed the buzzer and he would like to have it on his team. “The only advantage I have over Marc is that I was born on January 8, like Bowie.” Finally, Michael chooses to go to Marc Lavoine’s group.

TF1 communicated on December 30 on the broadcast of the first episode of its famous TV hook. The Voice begins with the first blind auditions Saturday January 18, 2020 from 9.05 p.m. on the first channel. However, we do not yet know the date of the final. The winner of the latest edition of The Voice was elected last June on TF1. Whitney won. Just 20 years old, Whitney caused a sensation in The Voice. The young woman appeared for the first time in episode 5 of The Voice season 8. This is the big meeting at the start of the year for TF1: the tele-hook The Voice punctuates the start of the new school year in January for the first channel in France. Traditionally, TF1 launched its new season of “The Voice, the most beautiful voice” in mid-January with blind auditions. The show is broadcast every Saturday at 9 p.m. on TF1. It is followed by a program called “The Voice, the suite” which reveals some of the behind the scenes of the flagship program of TF1.
