Teals. The deminers intervene after the discovery of a suspicious package near a school

The alert was given at 12:19. This Monday, September 5, 2022, a suspicious package was discovered on Avenue César-Franck, a aqua green (Val-d’Oise), not far from the Jean-Mermoz school group.

A security perimeter was immediately set up by the police. Primary school pupils and staff, as well as several inhabitants, were confined during the intervention of a mine clearance team.

After examining the package, the deminers were able to quickly dispel any doubts. This did not present any danger, “it was in fact a lure”, indicates a source close to the case. An investigation must be opened to determine the origin of this package.

The intervention ended around 13:30, with the lifting of the security perimeter and the restoration of traffic.
