Approach to the nursing management of breast cancer, the teaching given to health workers who work in the “Presidente Remón” Polyclinic of the Social Security Fund (CSS) was entitled.
The presentation was in charge of Magister María Rosas, an oncologist nurse who works at the National Oncological Institute (ION), who among other points stated that cancer requires interdisciplinary clinical management.
The activity was organized by the obstetrician nurse, Mónica Camarena, who is coordinator of the Maternal Program, as part of the actions to raise awareness about this disease, which seeks to encourage the female population to undergo preventive examinations, since a diagnosis to time, it can save lives.
