In the US city of Pasadena, California, a local resident came to a friend’s birthday party without a mask, coughed in the presence of guests and joked that she had a coronavirus. Soon after, the woman passed the tests for COVID-19. It turned out that she really was infected. It is reported by Mirror.
According to the publication, she infected five more guests of the party. Six more can be infected, they do not have symptoms of a virus yet.
The site of the city administration notes that the organizer and party guests violated the order “Safer at Home”. They did not wear medical masks and did not maintain a safe distance.
In total, 4.1 million people are infected with coronavirus in the world. The increase in infected over the past day amounted to 78.1 thousand people. Over the entire period of the pandemic, 282,719 patients died.
