The distance modality represented a challenge for the education sector all over the world. Under this new reality, both students and teachers, teachers, fathers and mothers had to adjust to new forms of learning for basic and professional education.

The teacher who discriminated against his student for breastfeeding her baby
A young woman filed a complaint for misogyny and discrimination on social networks when one of her teachers forced her to turn on her webcam to take classes. The student in question kept her image offline to take advantage of the time and breastfeed her baby, Because being a single mother, she could not prioritize any of her activities.
Finally, after receiving thousands of criticisms and being reprimanded by the authorities, the professor was forced to make a public apology to the young woman.
Professors expelled from the Faculty of Chemistry UNAM
Students from the Faculty of Chemistry-UNAM reported two cases of harassment against the students through social networks. In consecuense, the National Autonomous University of Mexico decided to remove them from its faculty and thus end with an academic strike orchestrated by the students against this type of comments.
Both events were considered gender violence and the Faculty issued the following statement:

The teacher who exhibited a student for his lack of financial resources
“So what’s the point of taking classes if they can’t have the elements? That roll is left over, the poor have already stayed”Said Jorge Santigeral, a professor at the South Campus Science and Humanities College, when one of his students claimed that he could not turn on his webcam due to problems with his laptop.
After the video went viral, the professor had to publicly apologize for his discriminatory and classist comments.
The teacher suspended for yelling at her students
In mid-September a teacher went viral for yelling at her students during online classes. For such an action that was evidenced by the student body and later, when the authorities determined it, suspended the rest of the semester without pay.
The teacher who allegedly viewed pornography during class
This happened in Florida. There a teacher named Michael Braeseke was under investigation by the academic authorities after a complaint was filed against him.
According to the students, the teacher watched pornography as well as teaching online. This was evidenced in a video in which the audio of said material was heard.

The teacher who called his students “crystal generation”
Generational divisions are a matter of controversy, however when a teacher uses them in a derogatory way against their students, it usually provokes a generalized critical reaction.
This happened to Miguel Ángel Cabello who, from the Technological Institute of Acapulco, called his Differential Calculus students “crystal generation and caused the outrage of thousands of users on the web.
In the recording of the events, a student asked him to change his educational method because he was not understanding the class and claimed that the teacher did not give clear instructions. To add, he mentioned that the quality of teaching in the different institutions was not always the same, to which the teacher replied:
And am I to blame? (…) What do you propose? What does the qualification give you? I can not; You don’t like how I teach you. Ask for your change. Oh no! That the crystal generation that takes offense at everything, how they are going to speak badly to the child, they cannot be spoken badly “said the teacher.
The teacher who made fun of one of his students with Asperger’s syndrome
An engineering professor made fun of one of his students and later had to publicly apologize for this act of discrimination. The Autonomous University of Nuevo León went viral on social networks because thousands of users questioned the authorities how they allowed their teaching staff to interact with their students.
“Hey bastard, I’m telling you to do it in the notebook by hand, fucking asshole, don’t go crazy wey, do it … engineering is not for crazy people, it’s for sensible people, maybe art can be used for crazy people. If you follow him, I will reprove you from before for lack of intellectual capacity. Jesus do it, let it go, don’t interrupt us ”, the teacher mentioned to the young man.
