Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Rubik’s Choir – National Symphony Orchestra concert to be broadcast live / Article

The concert will be broadcast live on 11 February at 19.00, free of charge on the “Youtube” channel, as well as on Latvian Radio 3 “Klasika”.

The 11 February concert features the popular Fifth Symphony by Russian Romantic composer Peter Tchaikovsky and the imaginative triptych The Sea by French Impressionist Claude Debussy, as well as the Concerto for Violin, Cello and Orchestra by 20th century Hungarian-American composer Miklós Roža. Roza is best known internationally as a film music composer, having written music for Alfred Hitchcock’s Spellbound, for which he won an Oscar.
