On Sunday evening, the family of the deceased fan attended the ‘Eras Tour’ show in São Paulo, at the request of the American singer. After the performance, the family was allowed backstage to meet Swift.

Nine days after Ana’s death, her family was invited to a concert by the superstar. The five loved ones of the deceased fan watched the show from a VIP tent. They wore matching shirts with Ana’s face on them. After the concert, they were allowed to go backstage, where they posed for a photo with Swift. The snapshot has now gone viral on social media.
On November 17, Ana was front and center at Taylor’s concert. Just before the show started, the young woman became unwell. She was resuscitated, but to no avail. In addition, a thousand fans fainted during the concert. Many complained about the fact that water was not allowed to be brought in, while the country was ravaged by an extreme heat wave. The feeling temperature in the stadium was no less than 58.5 degrees. Flávio Dino, Brazil’s minister of justice, has launched an investigation into the fan’s death. He said it was “unacceptable that people should suffer, faint and even die due to lack of access to water.”

Broken heart
In an interview with a Spanish newspaper, Ana’s father spoke out about the loss of his daughter. “She left for a dream, the Taylor Swift concert, but never returned. I lost my only daughter, a happy girl. She was about to graduate in psychology in April. I have no words to express my pain,” he said emotionally.

Swift said she was devastated by the news. “I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but it is with a broken heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” she said on Instagram at the time. “I can’t even tell you how devastated I am about this. I have very little information, except that she was so incredibly beautiful and also far too young.”
The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer stated that she would not be able to talk about Benevides Machado during her concerts. “I am unable to speak about this from the stage because I feel overwhelmed with sadness when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my heart goes out to her family and friends.”
