Playstation 5’s big game Horizon Forbidden West will no longer be released this year according to information to Bloomberg.
The action game is instead expected to appear sometime during the first quarter of 2022.
Earlier, Playstation Worldwide Studios CEO Hermen Hulst said in an interview with Playstation Blog that they aimed to release the game for Christmas but that it was not safe.
Delays have been common in the gaming world due to the corona pandemic and teleworking. However, it is unclear exactly what Horizon Forbidden West’s delay is due to.
Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to Guerilla Games’ successful Horizon: Zero Fawn which was released in 2017 for Playstation 4.
