The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, defending champions, won an easy victory against the Chicago Bears (38-3), Sunday during the seventh day of the NFL. After a quarter, they had already scored three touchdowns (21-0) and, at the break, they were leading 35-3. Tom Brady delivered four TD’s assists and became the first quarterback in NFL history to surpass 600 touchdowns (602).

Well served by Brady, receiver Mike Evans scored three TD’s, while his teammate Chris Godwin gained 111 yards. Justin Fields, the Chicago QB, was overwhelmed, suffering three interceptions and committing two fumbles.

Murray jostled but victorious
The Arizona Cardinals are still the only undefeated team this season in the NFL. They won their seventh game in a row, against the Houston Texans (31-5). The “Cards” had not had such a good start since 1974.

Against Houston, the start was difficult. Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray suffered four sacks and conceded his first interception after 135 straight passes the opponent had failed to capture. But the Texans’ offensive weakness kept them from getting off the ground in this game, and Murray got the Cardinals back on track with three touchdown passes.

The Rams confirmed their good start to the season, winning (28-19). But the Lions fought well, multiplying the daring games (onside kick recovered, fake punts). They were only led 19-17 at the start of the fourth and final quarter. But Goff was intercepted twice, shattering the chances of his team, who still haven’t won this season. Stafford, he was impeccable (334 yards, three touchdowns).

Las Vegas serene despite the Gruden affair
The Las Vegas Raiders don’t seem too upset by the resignation of their coach Jon Gruden two weeks ago over accusations of racism, misogyny and homophobia. Now guided by Rich Bisaccia, they won a second success in a row, against the Philadelphia Eagles (33-22). Finally the Indianapolis Colts won among the San Francisco 49ers (30-18).
