Journalist Tamer Amin said that the late artist Samir Alexandrani, who left our world last Thursday at the age of 82, was a great and patriotic man who served his country and his country’s institutions.
Amin added, during his presentation of his program “Akher Al-Nahar” broadcast on “Al-Nahar” channel today, Monday, that Samir Alexandrani was a great artistic and patriotic stature and that he did not feel the appreciation, love and respect of people in his life, pointing out that he made a mistake and committed a crime against the late artist by not talking about him. And about its history and not hosting it, after moving away from the artistic scene and the limelight in recent years.
He added that the Musicians Syndicate had failed in the right of Samir Alexandrani by not honoring him in his life, considering the Syndicate the legitimate authority responsible for musicians and singers.
