DHS officials say the enemies at home are white supremacists and extremists suspected of supporting the Taliban.

CNN in its report, Wednesday (1/9/2021), said white supremacist groups and anti-government extremists had expressed admiration for what the Taliban had achieved. It is a worrying development for US officials who have grappled with the threat of domestic extremism.

John Cohen, was one of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis officials at DHS who voiced the concerns.

His concerns were conveyed through a teleconference call with law enforcement on Friday last week obtainedCNN. In the teleconference Cohen said the groups were “framing the activities of the Taliban as a success.”

Other sources CNN is the SITE Intelligence Group, an NGO run by professional “extremist trackers”; Rita Katz.
The August 26 issue of SITE’s weekly bulletin contains a quote by an unidentified person on the Telegram channel praising “trained farmers and men who are fighting to reclaim their nation from globohomo“.

“If white people in the West had the same courage as the Taliban, we wouldn’t be ruled by the Jews today,” the quote reads.
