Outraged Spaniards have filled the streets of the city of Madrid in September. It’s still so hot that protesters can wear T-shirts. Nevertheless, the electricity bill of the average Spaniard has increased by 35 percent from the same time last year.
The increase in electricity prices is in addition to a pandemic that has hit the country hard.
