Taken by the quick clay landslide – – Your biggest wish was to become a grandmother

On Thursday afternoon, Rasa Lasinskiene was buried from Gjerdrum church. She was one of the ten people who lost their lives in the quick clay site in Gjerdrum on December 30 last year.

Lasinski’s son Mantas Gulbinas and his cohabitant Salwa Alkaiysi were some of the family members who spoke at the funeral. It is Romerikes Blad which discusses the matter.

– Your biggest wish was to become a grandmother. You got to experience that for six months. Thank you so much for being a wonderful wife, a kind and caring mom and a fun and kind grandmother to Adam. He should know how much he loved you, said the family at the church, according to RB.

Lasinskien was a colorful person, who led to those present at the funeral dressed in different colors, in honor of the deceased.

The machines were the last of a total of ten people who were missing after the landslide.

Police Chief Ida Melbo Øystese in the Eastern police district said at the time that she is happy that the survivors do not have to live in uncertainty about what happened to their loved ones.

– Our thoughts today go to Rasa Lasinskiene’s survivors, and to everyone else who was hit by the landslide. I would also like to thank the crews from the police and other agencies who in recent months have worked purposefully to find all the missing. It has been demanding work, and not without risk. I am therefore happy that we can now put an end to this part of the mission, said the police chief March 25 to Dagbladet.
