Terkini.id, International – An asteroid named 2021 KT1 with a size of 600 feet is expected to pass by planet Earth this week.
Some scientists believe that the asteroid has a possible size of 1,049 feet, equivalent to 319 meters, comparable to the size of the Chrysler Building in New York City.
It is estimated that there are about 7 asteroids with different sizes will pass the earth until Tuesday next week.

NASA believes that the asteroid is a “potentially dangerous object” because it is so close to Earth and passes within 4.6 million miles of Earth.
Regardless, NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies says there’s nothing to worry about asteroid impacts on Earth.

“No one should be too concerned about impacts to Earth from asteroids or comets,” he explained.
It is said that the asteroid flies past about 40,000 miles per hour. There is no possibility that the asteroid will hit Earth.
However, apart from that, scientists are still looking for ways to deflect the asteroid so that it is safe from potential threats to Earth in the future.

It is estimated that each asteroid will appear at a distance of 181.00 miles and 694,000 miles from Earth.
The other asteroids of the type JW6 2021 and 2021 KE1 are expected to pass by the earth on Wednesday, 09 June 2021.
