The national team suffered its second defeat in a row, after losing last Friday evening to its host, the Bahraini team, with a score of (64-70), while the Syrian team compensated for its loss against the Lebanese team by (78-87). The Syrian superiority was evident in three-pointers, which were recorded at 38% for the “Nusour Qasioun” players, compared to 34% for the “Al-Abyad” players, in addition to the Syrian superiority in two-pointers with a rate of 68%, compared to only 31% for the national team’s players. To ensure its victory, the Syrian team needed to gain absolute advantage with the results of the second and third quarters (26-11 and 15-12), while the national team players did not have the advantage of obtaining the advantage with the results of the first and fourth quarters (17-16 and 23-21).
