Symptoms of Covid-19: when it gets dangerous

EFirst the throat scratches, and a little later you are already in the intensive care unit and are ventilated. There are a lot of reports and readings about people suffering from Covid-19 these weeks, often about those who have been hard hit by lung disease. The reports frighten many who have not yet been infected with the coronavirus that triggers the disease. How bad will it get if you get caught?

Not so bad for most that they have to go to the clinic. Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn said on Friday that six out of seven sufferers in Germany have not yet had to be admitted to hospital.

From international surveys it is known that the disease is not life-threatening in 80 percent of cases and can be cured at home – if you take a few things into account.
