The Latvian National Theater will resume receiving full-time visitors

The first on-site experience of the theater will be unusual – the exhibition will start at the entrance of the LMT New Hall, where photographs of Pauliņš’s brightest creative works are located on three floors, said Ilze Blauberga, the theatre’s representative. Next, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the image, space and sound in a specially designed sense performance, in the bench theater.

Lighting artist Pauliņš has more than ten years of experience in lighting art and the time of the pandemic for the artist resulted in an idea of an exhibition of feelings. Together with the creative director of the idea Kaspars Zvīgulis and the team of theater lighting masters, theater visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the light experience process.

“Usually the viewer sees the stage light from the side, so we decided to give everyone the opportunity to move freely and enjoy the touch of light. I’m sure the light is awake, it can’t fall asleep, and this time the loneliness of this theater splits like a knife. live – neither online nor Zoom “, says Paulins.

Sensation exhibitions will take place on July 14, 15 and 16.

Two more premieres will be offered in July – on July 23 on the e-theater stage Jean-Pierre Dopan’s monologue “Teacher!” Directed by Intars Rešetins with Uldis Anži in the lead role and on July 31 in the LMT New Hall Māra Zālīte’s drama “Margareta” directed by Reina Suhanov with Daiga Kažociņš in the title role.

Ticket sales will start on July 1 at 10 am.
