The Federal Council of Switzerland has rejected Germany’s request to transfer to Ukraine ammunition for anti-aircraft self-propelled guns “Gepard”, previously received from Switzerland. About it writes SRF edition.

The transfer of ammunition violates Swiss war material law, which prohibits the transfer of weapons to warring countries.
The Federal Council also rejected a request from Denmark, which wanted to transfer 22 Swiss-made Piranha wheeled armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
At the same time, the Swiss Defense Procurement Authority allowed Germany freely dispose of the Leopard 2 tanks previously sold by Switzerland to the German defense group Rheinmetall.
