The Hyehwa Police Department in Seoul announced on the 10th that it was arresting and investigating Mr. A (45) on suspicion of special injury and death.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of hitting Mr. B’s head several times with a fire extinguisher in a sauna sleeping room in Sungin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 11 pm the previous day.
At that time, after drinking alcohol, Mr. A was sleeping in the sauna sleeping room, and when Mr. B, who was in a drunk state, entered, he argued that he was’noisy’, and was known to have committed the crime.
In response to reports of other users, the police dispatched to the scene arrested Mr. A as a current offender. B was moved to a nearby hospital, but died at around 11 am on the 10th.
The police, who were initially investigating Mr. A for special injuries, change the name of the charges to special injuries and lethal crimes, and are investigating the details of the crime.
A police official said, “We are going to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. A.”
