It has now been decided: the Umkircher swimming club will be called the Neptun Breisgau swimming club in the future. He has found a new home in Freiburg.
The Neptun Umkirch swimming club will henceforth be known as the Neptun Breisgau swimming club. At the most recent annual meeting in the club room in Freiburg’s Opfingen district, the members decided to change the name. They also set Freiburg as the new club headquarters. For the association founded in 1977, the Umkirch chapter is now closed.
The relocation of the association’s headquarters and the renaming were formally requested by Jens Poppe, since all the training times in Freiburg are right and there is no future for the “Aquafit” indoor swimming pool in Umkirch, which was closed two years ago.
